Hussain Ibrahimi's Art Exhibition

Hussain Ibrahimi has a truly amazing story.  He escaped the war in Afghanistan to get to Australia.  He ended up in a detention centre for some time before being placed in a home here in Brisbane where a friend of mine works.  Hussain had never painted before coming to Australia.  When some kids left some colouring in pencils at his place he began scribbling on some paper and found he had some skill.  He acquired some paint and brushes and, as you can see, he is a natural painter…
